We’re calling upon the public attending the carnival to help us with photos of our carnival this year!

We’re asking people to send their photos of this years carnival to us on Facebook or at info@tauntoncarnival.co.uk and making it a competition… the winner will get their photo posted as the Taunton Carnival cover photo on Facebook for the next year. Furthermore, other photos sent in that we like will appear in the Carnival programme of 2025, and our Facebook posts going forward, as well as on our website.

These are the rules:

1. The competition is run by the Chairman of the Taunton and District Carnival Committee Ltd on behalf of the committee
2. All photographs sent must be of Taunton Carnival 2024, no other carnivals will be accepted
3. Each entrant gives permission for photographs to be used by Taunton and District Carnival Committee Ltd within any material including printed or digital.
4. The names of entrants may be announced on our Facebook page in order to credit them for their work, ie to announce the winner or name them as the photographer.
5. Photographs are permitted to have writing on them (the persons name etc), however this will be judged along with the photo, so if it is not discrete it may affect the decision made.
6. The prize as outlined in the competition is that the winner will have their photo as the Facebook cover photo for Taunton Carnival for the foreseeable future.
7. Further prizes are photos being used elsewhere as detailed above in point 3
8. There is absolutely no monetary prize, or payment for photos received or used.
9. When entries are sent in, effectively by entering the competition you understand that Taunton Carnival may use the photos in any way without further permission than the permission granted by entering your photos.
10. Closing date for entries is Friday 26th October 2024 at 23:59.
11. By sending your photos, you confirm that you understand the above rules of the competition.
