Carlie Perkins was installed as Miss Taunton, the Carnival Queen 2019. at the Annual Presentation Evening this month. Mother of four, Carlie is a fulltime Homemaker and Carer.

Grace North, a pupil at north Town School, was chosen by a Panel of Judges including Deputy Mayor Cllr Fran Smith from a shortlist of three finalists to be this year’s Carnival Princess.

Carlie and Grace will appear at all the Committees functions during the year and represent Taunton at the South Somerset Federation Carnivals at Wellington, Chard and Ilminster.
